We want to be sure you are aware that we created an Independent Stationers Marketing Group Facebook Forum. The idea behind this group was initiated by the IS Marketing Committee and was developed for IS member marketing personnel to ask marketing related questions, share advice, marketing articles and comments. This is a closed Marketing Group Forum that is setup on Facebook and posts are only visible to invited IS members.

How it works:

  • If you have a marketing topic you would like to get feedback on, share an article, etc, visit the group page and post it. Members of this group forum will receive a notification of all posts and are encouraged to respond and comment.  It’s that simple.
  • Content should be marketing focused.  We know the lines can sometimes become blurred, but the content should include things like marketing trends in social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, etc), marketing strategies, video marketing, Google Analytics, web design, email marketing, SEO, content, PPC, advertising and more!
  • We encourage members to participate in chats, upload photos, collaborate and more!  This is YOUR group so please utilize it to the fullest you can and want to join in.
  • IS will monitor the posts and has the right to delete any content deemed inappropriate or outside the scope for this group.
  • IS will act as a host, but will not participate in posting information. We’re glad to help to answer questions or correct misinformation if needed.
  • Each group member will automatically receive notifications via Facebook when any member of this group posts.
  • If you want to invite someone else in your dealership that is not in marketing to join this group, but you know has great marketing ideas, send us their information or just have them visit the page and click “join group”. Once approved, they can join in.

To join our group, visit: and select join group. IS will approve you and you’ll be a live member.  Of course if you do not have a Facebook account and want to participate in our forum, you will need to setup an account.
